CRC 1585 Annual Retreat - Beilngries

25 and 26 March 2026

This year, we will meet on the 25th and 26th of March at the Tagungszentrum in Beilngries:

During the meeting each CRC sub-project will give a presentation.

1. Project presentations should provide an overview of the project’s development, including key results, publications, and collaborations.

2. Project presentations may be given by the PhD students involved in the project, by designated PI representatives, or directly by the PIs.

3. Ideas for the next funding period will be presented as a 4‑minute pitch talk supported by a 2‑slide presentation. The pitch should briefly outline the overall project idea, a possible workflow, and cooperation opportunities, addressing both what the project contributes to the CRC and how it will benefit from the CRC environment.

4. Pitch talks must be given by the PIs. To facilitate this, we will also allow online participation for the pitch session.

For everyone commuting from Bayreuth we would like to announce that there will be a bus that will take us from Bayreuth to the venue site. The Bus will depart from PARKPLATZ NWIV (UBT Campus) at 7:00 on March 25th. Therefore, everyone who would like to travel by bus is asked to arrive approximately 10 minutes in advance to the departure. After the end of the retreat on March 26th the Bus will take us back to Bayreuth (estimated arrival at UBT Campus is 17:00.
