Integrating a digital work environment for sustainable data management

The INF project will develop and provide a tailor-made and comprehensive research data infrastructure being based on the FAIR principles. It will cover the entire data lifecycle from the measurement to the publication. This includes the development of interfaces and procedures to transfer the meta- and primary research data to community-specific repositories in a seamless and automated manner. INF will implement an electronic laboratory notebook environment along with a metadata scheme that appropriately represents the interdisciplinary research of the CRC. Thereby we aim at increasing the data quality by implementing validation and plausibility checks of the raw data. This follows the long-term goal of a sustainable data management strategy.
